Sailing

Spring, summer or fall, SSYC offers a variety of sailing and racing opportunites. From weekend racing to mid-week racing and fun-on-the-water, SSYC is busy from April to November. By owning a significant number of boats in various fleets, SSYC is able to provide with the tools to learn sailing or to expand anyone's sailing abilities. Whatever your level or interest, SSYC has the members, facilities and boats to meet your expectations.

Prefer kayaks and paddleboards? You've found your new home! SSYC's beach is perfect for launching. You can paddle out anytime, but we have regular group paddles as well.

SSYC also features a premiere Jr. Sailing program and a vibrant Adult Instruction program. Membership or boat ownership is not required for either program. Simply click on the links for more information!

SSYC is also home to High School & College Sailing programs and regattas. Each spring and fall, teams gather at SSYC to learn and improve their sailing and to compete with other high schools or colleges.
